Deafness Healed

I was born with a mild degree of cerebral palsy and a severe high frequency hearing defect. My parents were told that I would not walk or talk.
Learning to walk was slow and difficult, I was 5 years old before I walked confidently. Talking was harder still. Unable to hear Th, S, Ch, F, T, sounds I couldn’t distinguish words or speak normally.
At 4 years old, I was wearing a hearing aid and at 12, I was wearing two. If I didn’t wear my hearing aids, my speech became slurred and unintelligible since I couldn’t hear my pronunciation.
At 23, I was baptised by full immersion and received the Holy Spirit, speaking in tongues. Although I was aware of many people being miraculously healed, I was thought I was OK, I had learned to make do.
When I was expecting my first baby I became worried what if I couldn’t hear my baby cry. I prayed earnestly for my hearing to be healed. Over a few months I heard birds singing, taps dripping, the telephone ringing. I no longer needed my hearing aids at all.
Now I can hear all the things that I never could before. Praise the Lord
