As a 40 year old, I was told by my husband of 20 years he had found someone else. I continued to attend with my children to the Catholic church and they were treated poorly at Catechism, being children of a "divorced Mother". Many other insults and rudeness turned me to not going to church at all.
Two years later, I remarried the angel God sent to care for me and 6 children, and He too having been Catholic was treated poorly so left church all together.
One of his children invited us to her protestant church many times but of course we did not go, but two years later my husband became ill and had to rest at home for a time. We saw an Evangelic TV program and listened to "truth" as they told it in Salvation. About a month later we were both convinced of the "truth" being in the blood of Christ , not in a church per se. We accepted Christ on the same day, in 1983 and everyday of our lives, We live for HIM. We live our lives in the ways of Christ and know that we know the truth and it set us free as the gospel tells so plainly. We do live in America, but have traveled on short term mission trips ,once to Tralee Ireland where we shared our love of Christ with the missionaries there. Thank You Lord for our Salvation and Truth in Jesus Christ our Lord.
