Well, I had the blessing of being brought up in a christian home, my parents were saved when I was aged around 4 years old or so, which was good because we were taught the bible and salvation from an early age.
I fell away from church when I was about 13 or so and for 5 years sampled what the world had to offer. I won't go into details of what I got up to or into, but I realised that the world had nothing to offer, and turned back to Jesus when I was aged 18.
I asked Jesus to make me happy, as I had not been happy in such a long time. As soon as I had prayed this, I felt such a joy welling up inside me and then I knew that I had made the right decision, the world holds nothing when compared to life in Christ!!
Since then God's given me direction and a beautiful wife and wonderful church, so he's looking after me as the bible says he will.
Bottom line is that Jesus is the only way, the truth and the life, I can't contemplate life without him, and owe him everything for what he's done for me!
